Keiane Balicanta

Electrical & Computer Engineer

I study technological solutions constantly growing my knowledge in engineering excellence.

About Me

I'm an engineer interested in microcontrollers, FPGAs, and embedded programming.

Currently, I'm a graduate student at Rowan University studying electrical and computer engineering and am expected to graduate in May 2026. I'm also an associate engineer at Atlantic City Electric where I contribute to the maintenance and testing of electric meters for the South Jersey region. I am also learning on my own time to improve my knowledge and skills with RTOS, x86 and ARM architectures, VHDL, and network/communication protocols.

Previously, I've worked on various projects across many settings including Gradio AI interfaces, web portfolios, magnetic LED arrays, and Verilog processors. Some languages that I'm proficient in include C/C++, Java, Python, and JavaScript. On the frontend for this website, I used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with the backend handled in Flask.

When I'm not on my computer or at work, you can find me at the gym, spending time with my family, playing with my dog and cat, or playing video games.
